Policy & Terms for Selfcare is the New Sexy the Retreat, hereafter referred to as The Retreat;


What is the difference between the Room Packages?

The only difference between the two options is one is private and the other is shared. Please understand that when you reserve the double room, you may be in a room with a person you don’t know if you are not coming with a roommate.

Are meals included?

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner is covered with your package. Any meals outside of our designed programming times will be self pay.

I have food allergies and/or a special diet, when do I tell you?

You will receive a questionnaire where you can share your food allergies, wine preferences and the correct spelling of your name, as some gift items may be engraved.


Is there a payment plan for the retreat?

YES!! There is a $250 deposit required to hold your spot at the retreat and make monthly payments until paid in full. The deadline is May 31st, 2023.

Delinquent Payment Plan Payments

Any payment plan payments more than 10 days late will be subject to $100 late payment fee. If your payments are more than 30 days late, then your reservation may be cancelled and subject to the cancellation policy below.

Pay In Full Requirements

If you select Pay In Full as your payment option on your registration form after your $250 deposit is made, please note a paid in full invoice will be emailed to you and it must be paid within 30 days of the deposit. If it is not made in that timeframe, then your plan will be converted to a payment plan as a payment must be made every 30 days to maintain your spot on the retreat. If not payment is made every 30 days, your spot may be cancelled. You may pay the balance off at any time by sending an email to team@shanadlewis.com to make that request.


Are there any refunds if I cannot attend the retreat?

If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another person by May 31st. There are no refunds.

REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS You may cancel at any time, but please note our cancellation policy:

Due to the nature of time-based and capacity commitments with the resort, ALL payments will be considered NON-REFUNDABLE, which includes the full and installment payments.

REFUND REQUEST(S) DIRECTED FROM YOUR BANKING INSTITUTION All chargeback notifications received via your bank will be considered a cancellation of your registration at the Retreat.  We will send all documentation, including confirmation of receipt of all travel policies.  Agreement signatures will be provided to the banking institution as confirmation of payment application according to all agreed-upon terms.


All payments will be made by credit card processed thru PayPal and are subject to a 3.5% processing fee that will be added to each installment payment.


AGREEMENT Buyers/Attendees agrees to individually,  jointly and severely indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Selfcare is the New Sexy the Retreat, and all agents, and affiliates, corresponding parties, from and against all liabilities, loss, damage, or expenses, including attorney fees, which may be incurred or sustained as a result of purchase; during the retreat, or here after, in perpetuity.

TRAVEL INSURANCE Unforeseen circumstances can happen to anyone, and if you aren’t prepared, will cause you to miss the Retreat, as well as lose your investment. It is highly recommended that you purchase travel insurance. This product is not provided thru the retreat hosts and must be purchased separately.

PHOTOGRAPHY/VIDEOGRAPHY RELEASE With my attendance, I hereby grant permission to The Selfcare is the New Sexy the Retreat to use photographs and/or video of me taken from July 27-31, 2023 at the Retreat in publications, news releases, online, and in other communications related to the mission of The Selfcare is the New Sexy The Retreat.

Flight costs are not included in the cost of the Retreat.

Here are some guidelines for flights:

Thursday, July 27: You may arrive as early as you’d like but may not be able to check in until 3 p.m. Our first event will occur at 6 pm.

Monday, July 31: The program will conclude after breakfast so we recommend flights beginning at 1:30PM from Princess Juliana International Airport.
